Phase 1 Desk Studies
We undertake Desk Based Studies for any size of site for a number of purposes. They are generally a planning condition and comprise a desk based review of available information, producing an initial conceptual model and risk assessment for a site.
The final report informs the Phase 2 investigation if necessary
Ground Investigations
The site or ground investigation often a requirement for Local Authority Planning Permissions before development. These are undertaken to obtain information on the sub-surface such as Geology, Contamination, Hydrogeology and also obtains soil and water samples for testing. Allows an assessment of physical and environmental condition of a site.
Engineering Geology & Geotechnical
At iGeo we are fully experienced in undertaking specific Engineering Geological and Geotechnical assessments. From Earthworks and site remodeling to rock and soil slope stability, we are ideally suited to recommend and design solutions.
We can also assist in the sourcing and selection of specialist contractors to undertake specific Geotechnical works.
